At Charnwood College we are committed to broadening the horizons of each and every one of our Sixth Form students.

We provide each individual with the qualifications to move on to Higher Education or employment and at the same time we support students to develop the independence and skills they need to prepare for their future, wherever that journey may take them.

Through a broad range of courses and with the support of the David Ross Education Trust, we are proud to offer high academic standards, the latest technology and unrivalled enrichment and sporting opportunities

Alongside academic excellence, we offer impartial advice and support with UCAS and job applications, CV writing and personal development opportunities. Our students also have access to tailored scholarships and bursaries, unique partnerships with some of the country’s leading organisations and a very strong and dedicated body of teachers and support staff.

Year on year, our students are leaving our academy with the very best grades in their A-Level and vocational courses. As a result, many of our students go on to the country’s leading universities, as well as industrial work placements and apprenticeships.

Developing confident, articulate and motivated students, who take responsibility for both their own learning and for their role within society, is at the centre of what we stand for.

Alumni Success

Isabel Dungworth, Anna Peters and David Horstmann are some of Charnwood Colleges former students.

During their time at school they were exceptional students, embraced all aspects of school life and upheld the schools values of Ambition, Aspiration, Courage and Respect.

At Charnwood College, we offer a wide range of A level academic and vocational courses that meet the interests and needs of our students. Many students stay in touch with us and return to see their teachers and/or support in school events. We are extremely proud of them and of our destination data, which over the last few years has supported all students to gain a place at either university, an apprenticeship or get into further education or work.
