Next phase of our redevelopment

We have submitted an application to the Department for Education for the disposal of the already vacated building on the north side of the Charnwood campus. As you may be aware the building was mothballed in 2014 and the site has not been occupied since. The proposed area for sale can be seen in the bottom right of the image below and can be seen marked in red/pink.

All proceeds from the sale will be reinvested in the next phase of Charnwood College’s redevelopment for the good of our students. We are committed to give all of our pupils a world class education, and that means making sure that we have buildings that are of the ambitious quality needed for that purpose. The investment will be focused on creating modern educational spaces in which our pupils can thrive.   

The next phase of the development will include:
Improved Science labs
New design technology classrooms
Upgrade of the gymnasium
Additional changing facilities
Improved accessibility
