We would like to invite you to attend an evening (Tuesday 15th January 2019) to hear about an exciting Home Learning Maths Programme we are running with all our students this year.

We will be running four sessions as follows:-

Yrs 7 and 8

Home learning programme: Hegarty Maths and then Ross Diploma

5pm - 5:30pm

Yrs 9, 10, 11

Home learning programme: Hegarty Maths

6pm - 6.30pm

Yrs 9, 10, 11

Home learning programme: Hegarty Maths

6.45pm - 7:30pm

Yrs 7 and 8

Home learning programme: Hegarty Maths and then Ross Diploma

The aim of this programme is to provide a top quality home learning platform to students.  This means that along with fantastic teacher-led maths lessons in school, your child will be supported at home with their maths learning.  Often maths homework can be difficult to get right.  At home students may struggle to remember concepts and parents often find it difficult to help their child through the methods as they may be different now to when they were at school.

In the sessions for Years 7 and 8, Mr Killick will also be introducing the Ross Diploma to parents.  This Diploma has been created to focus and inspire our younger students so they make the most out of their first two years at secondary school.

I would strongly urge you to attend the evening as it will be hugely beneficial for you and your child and ask that you complete the slip attached to the letter sent out today and return it to the student reception by Monday 14th January.
